Personally, I think these should have been more than three for a dollar.
My first stop after the job interview that never happened was Strand. I was super excited, as I had never been there (bad English major!) I stepped inside, and was instantly overwhelmed. I picked up some postcards and violet candy and left.
They say that when life hands you lemons, make lemonade. My lemon? Bad directions that caused me to miss out on a test that could’ve led to a job. My lemonade? Stumbling upon vintage mecca in the East Village. Let’s look through some of my finds, shall we?
